Three in Sussex
Miss Effie Stone Takes the Third Watch to that Town

There are now three Freeman watches in the town of Sussex. Itwas a slip of the pen which made The Freeman say last week that Miss Lulu Buckhad secured the first watch in that town, as only a week or tow before we hadnoted the success of Miss Cora Templeton in the watch contest. The third watchwinner is Miss Effie Stone of Sussex. She is a very bright and nice appearinggirl, thirteen years of age. She brought in seven subscribers instead of six andsecured a pretty cord by which to attach her watch. Miss Effie did not carry herwatch away in a case, but she immediately slipped the cord around her neck andthe watch in her belt.
