June 24, 2015 –Maxine Brunner FleuryYou might not see it, it’s up under the Eagle…LPS-1001. I’ll have to get together with my family and get pictures of the studio, recording board/equip and list of the recordings he made. He even recorded groups that sang jingles – the one that comes to mind is Skipper Buds. My brother Max and I heard it so much we can still sing it to this daywink emoticon Yes, you are correct. My father-in-law is Don Fleury. My husband Tom played bass with him as well as several other contemporary bands. I’m surrounded by musicians smile emoticon I’m sure Don would be happy to share whatever information you need.

1. OBITUARY EXTRACTION:
NAME & ADDRESS: Glenn Moldenhauer, age 60, of N5693 Riverside Drive, Shawano, formerly of Iron Ridge, WI, was welcomed into the loving arms of his Savior on Sunday, Nov. 28, 2004.
BIRTH & PARENTS: Glenn was born Jan. 7, 1944, in Hartford, the son of the late Gilbert and Magdalena (Callies) Moldenhauer.
EARLY YEARS & MARRIAGE: On June 20, 1965, he was united in marriage to Patricia Fischer at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Iron Ridge.
INTERESTS – EMPLOYMENT: Glenn was a dairy farmer in the Iron Ridge area. He was a member of St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Iron Ridge for 55 years where he was on the church council and was a member of the choir. Glenn also belonged to the Iron Ridge Volunteer Fire Department, the Allenton Lions Club and was chairman for the Town of Herman Board of Adjustments. Then in 1999, he and his wife moved to the Shawano area where Glenn worked for the Mid County Co-op in Bonduel. He was a member of Divine Savior Ev. Lutheran Church and a member of the choir. Glenn was known for forming the Glenn Moldenhauer Polka Band and was a member of the United Orchestra Leaders for over 35 years. He enjoyed card playing, fishing, and playing concertina for many anniversaries and gatherings. His faith and his family meant the most to him and his grandkids were the apple of his eye.
SURVIVORS: Glenn is survived by: his wife, Patricia; daughter, Cathy (Bryon) Nehls of Juneau; grandchildren, Lucas, Carissa, Marco, Hannah; daughter, Barb (Neal) Ewert of Mayville; grandchildren, Sarah, Samuel; daughter, Debbie (Dean) Huming of Hector, Minn.; grandchildren, Jayden, Range, Parker; brothers and sisters, Earl Moldenhauer, Marvin (Janet) Moldenhauer, Darlene (Earl) Schellpfeffer all of Iron Ridge, Karen (Glen) Eller of West Bend; many nieces, nephews, cousins.
PRECEDED BY: Glenn was preceded in death by: two infant sons, Jeffrey and Daniel; his parents; a sister-in-law, Marcy; nephew, David Moldenhauer.
FUNERAL SERVICES AND BURIAL: Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4, at Divine Savior Ev. Lutheran Church in Shawano with the Rev. James Naumann and Rev. Bill Limmer officiating. Burial will be in St. Matthew’s Lutheran Cemetery in Iron Ridge. Family and friends may call at the church on Saturday after 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Swedberg Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to the family to be used for Mission Outreach.
