Cemetery is located on the east side of Highway 74 (MainStreet) near Willow Spring School at the intersection of Town Line Road, justpast the village of Lannon, Southwest 1/4 of Sec. 19. The parish began 1841 asan Irish Catholic congregation. The first church was built in 1848. The cemeterywas established in 1848. Loving father of Susan (Dennis) Turner, Jeanne Archiquette, Diane (John) O’Hearn, Peggy Schieffer and her boyfriend Kelly Meddaugh. Devoted grandfather of John and Daniel Archiquette, Benjamin and Michael Turner, John and Joshua O’Hearn.
Further survived by many other relatives and friends. Bob was a proud veteran of World War II and a 50 year member of the American Legion Post 427. He was a faithful employee of Wisconsin Bell for 42 years and he retired as a district manager. He served as a municipal judge for 20 years in the Village of Lannon. Bob was also past president of the Wisconsin Muskie Club, co-founder and the first president of Muskie Clubs Alliance, a member of 25 Sportsman’s Club, Okauchee Club and Monches Fish and Game, a past president, Guide and Contestant of World Muskie Hunt, a member of Wisconsin Telephone Company Pioneers and a member of the Waukesha Senior Golfers/Bowlers. Bob had a true appreciation for nature conservation and a love of life which he gratefully shared with his family.

Schumann, Anthony C. “Bubbles”, of Loveland, CO. Age 78. Passed away January 30, 1999 at theNorth Shore Healthcare Facility. Funeral at St. James Catholic Church. Tony was born in Burlington, WI on Oct. 17, 1920. He attendedSt. Mary’s grade and high school where he was active in sports, especiallybaseball and basketball. At the age of twenty-one he moved to Sussex, WI andstarted his own grocery store. He owned a grocery there until he retired in1985. He married Beth Hassman in 1944 and together they raised seven children.He was active in various civic organizations including theLions club where he served as president and the Sussex Industrial DevelopmentGroup. He supported many additional groups including youth baseball and the 4-H.He remained active in sports throughout his life winning many bowling andhorseshoe trophies and playing golf. He also enjoyed ballroom dancing. He was preceded in death by his brother and sister, Fr. GeorgeSchumann and Sr. M. Consuelo and his wife of 40 years Elizabeth Schumann. He issurvived by his children, Stephen (Virginia) Schumann of Kansas City; Mary(Francisco) Marmolejo of Westminster, CO; Barbara (Joe) Rench of Rock Island,IL; Judith (Richard) Swafford of Arvada, CO; Antoinette (Gary) Wachtl ofHartland, WI; Jeffrey (Lisa) Schumann of Westminster, CO; Therese (Donald)Mindemann of Loveland, CO. Other survivors include his sisters Betty Rhodes of Portage,WI; Eileen Carey of Escondido, CA and Joan Walsh of Peoria, AZ. He is alsosurvived by eleven grandchildren.
