Barnes, Patrick, a 19-year-old man, formerly of Sussex,d.  Saturday, 11/17/1999, he had been hunting with his father, Dennis, said his mother, Janice Barnes ofSussex. A 1998 graduate of Hamilton High School in Sussex, he hadattended Waukesha County Technical College for tool-and-die work. He wasemployed at Herker Industries in Menomonee Falls, where he had started to workwhile in high school. Barnes and his father made headlines in 1996 after theirboat capsized on Lake Winnebago. Barnes is also survived by a sister, Kelly(Joshua) Wojciechowski, and his grandmothers, Dorothy Barnes and Ruth Tewes.

Corbett, Cynthia was born Nov. 5, 1780 in Milford, MA , anddied Sept. 12, 1864. She was married to Daniel Corbett, he died in NY in 1854.Her son Carlton was living in Pewaukee in 1850 (he would have been about 47).Cynthia may have moved out here after the death of her husband with herdaughter, Sarah. In 1860 Cynthia was living with Sarah and Sarah’s husbandGeorge Brown (They married in 1856 in Pewaukee). Cynthia was 79, Sarah was 33,George was 40. Carlton died in Pewaukee Oct. 11, 1875 (born June 19, 1803 inVermont) and is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, along with his son Morris (Apr. 18,1842-Oct. 3, 1869) and another son’s (Daniel) wife, Julia Brownell Corbett(July 18, 1843-Nov 2, 1868) who died in childbirth. Carlton was married to LydiaZeluff Corbett, who outlived Carlton, moved to the Eau Claire area andeventually re-married, dying July 15, 1903 in Chippewa Falls. Another of Carlton’sson’s, Charles Henry, was born in Pewaukee on Feb. 9, 1855, married a Waukeshanative, Anna Mary Hurtgen, the daughter of John and Eva (Hulbrack?) Hurtgen.Charles & Anna married Sept. 11, 1875 in Wolf’s Bar in Milwaukee. They hadone child (Gertrude) in Waukesha County in 1876, then moved to Fond du LacCounty by 1878 for the birth of their next child.

IDA L. HECKER, died on Tuesday 1 August 1950 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. Shewas born 4 June 1870, daughter of Smith & Grace BARTLETT, attended grade andhigh school at Pewaukee. Ida was married to Henry HECKER, on 30 October 1890,who preceded her in death 21 years ago. They spent their time on two farms nearSussex, Wisconsin. Selling them they lived retired at Lannon, Wisconsin. Fivechildren mourn her passing, Howard, Eugene, Vern, Ivah and Harlan.

Krzyzanowski, Lawrence C. “Larry” Of Sussex, died on Monday, June 23, 2008, at the age of 70 years. Larry was born on April 28, 1938, the son of Larry and Rose Krzyzanowski. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church, Menomonee Falls. Larry was a long time employee of Lakeside Bridge and Steel. Loving husband of Mary (nee Busch) of Sussex. Dear father of Bill (Laura) Krzyzanowski of Kansas City, MO, Laurie (Dave) Goblisch of Green Bay, Gregory (Malinda) Krzyzanowski of England and Valory (Chad) McSweeney of Brooklyn Park, MN. Preceded in death by her parents John and Hilda Magnusson, brother Sven (Betty) Magnusson and her sister, Ingrid (Hasan) Shaban. Doting Aunt to John (Sharon) Magnusson, Gary (Mari) Maack-Magnusson, Cynthia (Tom) Geppert, Helen Shaban, Charles (Cindy) Shaban, Aceile (Steve) Riley, Hasan Shaban, Jane (Patrick) Howell, Dan (Diane) Magnusson, Susan (Thomas) Neitzke, Joseph (Dawn) Magnusson and many grandnieces and nephews. Margaret was born March 3, 1914 and raised in Sussex, WI. She attended Sussex State Grade School, Waukesha High School where she was valedictorian. She graduated from U.W. Madison with a bachelors and a masters degree in elementary education. She taught 20 years at Park Lawn Elementary School in Oconomowoc where she became principal for an additional 20 years, making Oconomowoc her home for over 50 years. Margaret was very kind and generous to all. Highlights were treating her family to trips to Sweden to meet relatives. Special thank you to the caring staff at Shorehaven and Vitas Hospice Care. Funeral services will be 12:00 noon on Friday at First Congregational United Church of Christ (815 S. Concord Rd. Oconomowoc, WI 53066). Friends may visit at church from 10:00 AM until the time of service. A lunch will be served following the service. Burial will be at 3:00 PM at St. James/Rosehill Cemetery in Sussex following the lunch.
