Rev. James Baynton, who has been doing missionary work at different places in this country during the past twelve years, but who resided in London, England, prior to that time, has been engaged as rector of St. John’s Episcopal church in this city, and will hold his first public service tomorrow. He has already arrived in the cily and has made a good first impression on those w i t h whom he has come in contact.

Married – At Sussex, Wisconsin, July 19, at 8 p. m., the Rev. James A. Baynton, rector of St. John’s Mission of this city, to Miss Alice Weaver. the young couple will return to Centralia and take up their residence in the clergy house next to the church on French street, some time next week.
Mr. Norton Baynton-Cox, of England, arrived in this city during the past week, and will make his home with his brother, Rev. James Baynton. Mr. Cox has devoted his life to the study and teaching of music, both piano, organ and vocal. He will organize a class here and also take charge of St. John’s choir, training the boys’ voices.

On Wednesday evening, July 19, at St. Alban’s church, Sussex, occurred one of the prettiest weddings of the season, that of Miss Allie E. Weaver, of Sussex, and Rev. James A. Baynton, of Centralia. Promptly at 8 o’clock to the strains of the wedding march, the bridal party entered the church, the bride leaning on the arm of her father, and attended by her sister. Miss Ada Weaver, as maid of honor, and her cousins, the Misses Ella Howard and Bertha Weaver of Waukesha, as bridesmaids. They were met at the altar by the groom and his brother, who acted as best man, and Rev. L. P. Holmes, pastor of St. Albans, who conducted the beautiful and impressive marriage service of the Episcopal church. The bride was attired in a beautiful gown of while silk en traine, elaborately trimmed with lace and ribbon, and wore a lace veil confined with flowers. She carried a beautiful bouquet of bride’s roses. The maid of honor also wore white silk and carried bride’s roses. The bridesmaids were attired in pink and corn color and carried pink and yellow roses. The six flower girls, members of the bride’s Sunday school class, were attired in white and carried bouquets of sweet peas and ferns. Norton B. Cox, the groom’s brother, acted as best man, and S. A. Connell, of Waupaca, and J. M. Williams of Brookfield were ushers.
The church was beautifully trimmed with ferns and flowers, the decorations being in green and white. After the ceremony the bridal party returned to the home of the bride’s father, Alfred Weaver, where they received the congratulations and best wishes of numerous relatives and friends. After which a bountiful wedding supper was served. The house was beautifully decorated with ferns, sweet peas and roses. The bride’s table was in green and white. Assisting in the dining room were the Misses Maude Holmes, Etta Harland, Stella Howard, and Clara Barker.
The happy couple were the recipients of many beautiful and substantial gifts.
The bride is one of the most charming and highly esteemed young ladies of Sussex, is very active in church and charity work, and will be missed from the community by all who know her.
Rev. and Mrs. Baynton will be at home to their friends at St. John’s rectory, Centralia, after July 16.

Dr. Baynton Dies in Bradford Hospital
Dr. Howard Bayton, 32, head of the radiology department of the Bradford Hospital, died Monday morning at the hospital, following a long illness of heart trouble. He was a native of Plymouth, Wis., and funeral and burial will be in Sussex, Wis.
