Janichek, Verona M. “Ony” (Nee Burdick) Found peace on Sunday, August 26, 2012, at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Rudy Janichek. Beloved mother of Michael (Shirley) Janichek and Susan (David) Kratz. Adored grandmother of the late Jim Janichek, Julie (Ken) Cull, Brenda (Jeff) Klemmer and Jeff (Heidi) Kratz. Great-grandmother of Matthew, Megan, Tommy, Haley, Jake and Kacy. Dear sister of Mary Whelan, Jean McNeil and the late Wayne Burdick. Also loved by several relatives and friends. Rudy and Ony were proud owners of Rudy & Ony’s Hilltop Tavern in Monches, Wisconsin for many years. Ony will best be remembered for her friendly smile and for opening her heart and sharing kindness and love with all who knew her. Visitation on Thursday, August 30, at the FUNERAL HOME from 4PM until time of Funeral Service at 7PM. Burial will take place at 10AM on Fri., Aug. 31, at St. Paul’s Church Cemetery, 495 St. Augustine Rd., Colgate. Please meet at the cemetery.
