From Amy Martin, April 30, 2015: Robert Schaefer March 31, 1916 to May 8, 2008. His real name was Moroni, but went by Robert as well. He was also known as Moroni Weingarten.

Schaefer, Robert M. Robert was called home May 8, 2008, at the age of 92, to be reunited with his beloved wife Virginia. Loving father of Wayne (Pamela), Lawrence (Linda) and Noel (Destine). Cherished grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 24.5 great-grandchildren. Further survived by his sister Nicole Bergere and friends. Visitation Tuesday, May 13, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (120 W. Paradise Dr., in West Bend), from 3PM until 6:45PM with a Funeral Service at 7PM. Please meet at entrance to Pinelawn Cemetery on Wednesday, May 14, at 10AM for a short procession to the Graveside Service. Robert worked for many years as Controller for Perlick Co. in Milwaukee. He and his wife owned a Christmas ornament business, Schaefer’s Bakery, and were often seen at craft shows in the Milwaukee area. Robert was known as the greatest fan of the big band leader Wayne King. Schaefer, Virginia F., (nee Ford) of Sussex, d. June 21, 2003 at the age of 82 years on Her 59th wedding anniversary to husband Robert. Mother of Wayne (Pamela), Lawrence (Linda) and Noel Schaefer. Grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Visitation at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (9904 W Calumet, 2 blocks north of W Good Hope on 99th street). Procession to Pinelawn Cemetery for Graveside Services at 10am. Virginia was a featured exhibitor for 30 years at many craft shows, where she was well known for her bread dough Christmas ornaments.
