George Pickleman, a general hand at Weber’s Brewery, hanged himself after attempting to kill his wife by failed strangulation; discovered by neighbor, friend and co-worker, Mr. Zeeb, a foreman at Weber’s.

Weber’s brewery will furnish its patrons with Bock beer Saturday, April 28th. The same will be on tap on that date and thereafter until consumed.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Mettlor and family have gone to Mankato, Minn., where they will make their future home. They have resided here for a number of years and made many friends. Mr. Mettlor has been employed at Weber’s brewery for the past two years and was a faithful and efficient employee.
