Docent (Tour Guide) – Engage children in hands-on programs in the Museum’s exhibit galleries. Leads adults in specially designed programs.
Engaging the Visitors
- Information Desk – Sussex-Lisbon Area hospitality at its best makes greeting and orienting visitors to the Museum a pleasure. Answer questions about the Museum’s exhibits and the Sussex-Lisbon Area Historical Society, Inc.
- Museum Store – Assist customers in discovering treasures of Sussex-Lisbon Area historic, artistic, and playful past and present.
- Special Events – Participate in a variety of roles while assisting with special lectures, demonstrations, receptions, and outreach fairs.
Behind the Scenes

Exhibit Tech – Join the Museum team and help build stimulating exhibits which explore themes relevant to the past, the present, and the future.
- Museum Office Support – Help staff with planning, organizing, mailings, receptionist duties, and more.
